I should murder my grandmother for this. She thinks she can marry me off to someone I don't care for, all for the sake of blood purity. This is really starting to bother me. Im meeting with guys at school now, because our elders are trying to pair us up. Seriously that woman has some issues with her head. Lucius Malfoy, he and I are like enemies. How can he see anything good in a half-blood like me. Her mind reeled with these thoughts as she prepared herself for the inevitable fate to come. The moment when she would have to meet Lucius in private. No one else. As had been requested for their meeting.
She had first seen him privately, this last summer. After tea with their Elders. She didnt remember much of what had happened then. She was still in shock mostly. Her grandmother had thrown her into a emerald green sundress. A silvery green waist sash had gone with that. She had met them all for tea that way. Dressed like a girl with her hair done up, even then she knew she was being sized up and judge. Judge,Jury, and Executioner. Lucius' father was the Judge, his mother the Jury, and Lucius was the Executioner. Because if they decided the union was a good idea, Lucius would be the end of her life as she knew it. No more tomboy tomfoolery, no more Marauders for friends,
A sigh left her as she sat on the balconies edge. Since it was right after dinner, on about Wednesday, she was in her school uniform. Her hands drapped over her knees. Amber eyes seemed lost and distant, as she allowed herself to gaze out over everything. It was one of the little hard to get balconies. One of the ones that was rather private. She had suggested it, because she liked the view of the lake. She personally had no idea it was a popular spot for couples. If she had known, she wouldnt have suggested it.
Unfortunately, she had to atleast put on a guise of trying. Keep her grandmother satisfied. Whih would make a lot of people happy in the long run. She ran her hand back through her hair, looking rather a pretty picture when she did it. Her gaze off to the side, and the sun fading from the sky. Did Lucius recognize her as a female? That thought seemed out of place, but she was still pissed at him. He had hurt her greatly with his actions. But what was the point in thinking these things.
She was hoping and praying that Luciu didnt show up. She disliked the looks she got frm males now. All because of her school uniform. Of which as now tailored to be just as tight as any of the other girls. She hated it, as it meant her skirt was short and her shirt was tight.

. Repulsive! Just utterly disgusting, really! The thoughts of the Malfoy family's bloodline being tainted by such filth as a treacherous half-blood... it was unthinkable! And yet Lucius' parents were pushing him into a date with one. Not only was her blood impure, but her House wasn't ideal for his taste either. A Gryffindor? What would the Dark Lord think of all this if he ever caught wind? The idea of a Pureblooded wizard being suited up with a Half-Blooded witch was beyond unreasonable in the eyes of their master, as well as the followers he called his Death Eaters... so why was this the exception the rule? Of course, it was their family history - a tree bringing forth many years worth of royalty... but to Lucius it just wasn't enough.
His parents weren't certain it was either. He could tell it on their faces and in their colder than usual words. They spoke with obvious uncertainty, but they remained set in what they had to say. Lucius, who ordinarily dared not argue with his parents, began to protest the arrangement, but they would hear none of it. He had looked from his mother to his father in disbelief before storming off and fuming over the situation in the safety of his own bedroom. It wasn't long then before his father, who was by far the more demanding of his two parents, entered to tell him the time and place the two would be meeting. Apparently, the location had been decided by Cerridwen, who couldn't have been any less thrilled than he was about the entire ordeal. Even though he had dashing good looks, she was the type who hated the Pureblood mindset, and she would want nothing to do with him.
At least there's that, he thought to himself as he made sure his collared silver shirt was wrinkle-free and that his expensive overcoat was set perfectly. We'll meet, we'll hate each other, words may be exchanged, and we'll leave, agreeing to tell our parents that it just wouldn't work out. He nodded to himself at his clever plan that she was surely going over in exactly the same manner as he. He pulled his golden pocketwatch out of the inner pocket of his overcoat and checked the time. Dinner would be over now, and the sun would be setting shortly, hopefully meaning that the night would go quickly. Thankfully Cerridwen had at least chosen a private setting so no one would know of their parents despicable plans of bringing the two together. Then again, the setting she had chosen tended to be a regular spot for the happy couples, so maybe her ideas between the two were more than what he expected... he shuddered at the thought.
It wasn't too long before he had reached the door to their meeting spot. He pushed the door open slowly and saw her sitting there, watching the sky carefully, as if she wasn't there to meet anyone at all. He cleared his throat to alert her of his presence, forgetting that the door was old and certainly made his entrance known to her. He looked off toward the sky she was so impressed by, and seeing its beauty temporarily pulled him out of the horrifying situation he had been forced into. The pinks and purples that were being cast by the setting sun as it faded into the earth... it was very romantic, perhaps, if he might have been with one worthy of his existence, such as Selene Greengrass or Narcissa Black. Just then he was pulled back into reality and he looked back to Cerridwen.
"Cerridwen?" he asked, putting on the aires of a gentleman. He extended his hand in a pleasant greeting, as though he actually wanted to be there. He almost hoped she wouldn't defile his hand by touching it with hers. He had met her the one time before while having tea with she and her grandmother, who had seemed beyond impressed with his manners. Obviously that was a mistake, but it was important, as a Malfoy, to be respectable when the family was pushing him so hard to do something. If anyone was going to be made a fool here, it would be this little rat, not him. She would be the one to cause a scene before he did anything to disrespect the Malfoy name.

Cerridwen was lost in the setting sun, in the colors of the sky. Natures canvas, spread out with a beauty that no man could seek to ever match. No beauty that anyone would ever seek to match. Especially someone like her, especially someone that had as many issues as she did. Between Sirius and his actions, and the fact that she was actually feeling a slight attraction to Lucius. Which was odd to say in the least, his personality was abhorrent, but teenage hormones rarely listened to the way the mind really thought. Unfortunately for her, her body was showing an attraction on a level that bothered her. Sirius, she actually cared for. Lucius she despised, had for a long time.
Unfortunately, her body had appeared to have different reactions. Possibly she was nursing something similar to a crush. That was mostly because of the fact that he noticed her. He actually noticed her as a female, which was something she had been craving lately. As oddly as it sounded. When she had appeared at his parents, he had been the picture of the perfect gentlemen. Thanks to her grandmothers training, she had the perfect manners that any parents would like. She had been polite, because if she fucked things up with Grandma Vasa her brothers and her would lose their financial base. She was selling herself, for her family. Something that women did in the old days.
But could she give up her friends, for someone like Lucius? She wasn't sure about that. Her mind was snapped into the real world again, as she heard someone say her name. She was a little startled, her head turning to look at him. She felt a heated blush pass over her cheeks, rather nervously. She shifted from the ledge, letting her feet touch the ground lightly. She had a delicate poise to her, a true grace that many women sought and trained to have. It was ingrained in her naturally, due to her combat training. She folded her hands before her, and tilted her head down a little. She saw his hand, but she could feel the odd sensations passing through the air. She would not take his hand, she would give him that courtesy.
"Good evening, Lucius." She said as she gave him an actual smile. Her hand came up to nervously push back some of her hair. Sliding it behind her ear, as she looked off towards the sunset. Her eyes alight with a certain light, if Lucius was into that kind of thing, it would probably paint such a pretty picture. "How are ye?" She asked as she looked back towards him. She seemed nervous, but she had reason to be. She was following what her grandmother had said. A true lady did not allow herself to be touched, unless the parents had previously said that it had been something they could cross. She had to act the part of the Lady, or risk everything she fought for.
