The Ravenclaw Tower is located on the west side of the school with its staircase beginning on the fifth floor. Once you climb the spiral staircase, you will find yourself face to face with an eagle door knocker. Instead of a password, you must answer the question the door knocker gives you or else be forced to wait until someone else can. The common room is a wide, circular room filled with midnight blue carpets and a domed ceiling painted with stars. In the middle of the room resides a bust of their founder, Rowena Ravenclaw, sporting her famous lost diadem. The Ravenclaw common room is the perfect place for aspiring students planning to study.

The Hufflepuff Common room is located on the first floor of the school, the basements, somewhere close to the Hogwarts Kitchens. Although it is never specifically mentioned how to access the Hufflepuff commonroom, for our sake we're going to assume that there is a knight on the basement of the school that accepts the Hufflepuff password and opens up into the Hufflepuff common room. The common room has a very content feeling to it, as it is filled with lots of bright yellow hangings and fat armchairs to lounge in. It also has two perfectly circular doors that lead to dormitories, all of which are hidden by doors that look like barrel tops.
