Sirius ‘Padfoot’ Black ‘And may you grow to be proud, dignified, and true...’
Living in a den of bold lions. Blowing out seventeen candles. Looking in a mirror there isn’t anything as sweet. No need for sugar when you have this much energy. Home is where the heart is...or in his case, where you make it. Band of brothers; A Marauder for life. Forever Young. Band of merry men...and women ’Be courageous and be brave And in my heart you’ll always stay...’Sirius is very happy go lucky kind of guy. He is always on the go and does things without thinking. He is in anything for a good time and tires easily. Be careful, the more bored he gets the crazier things he will come up with. Sirius is friends with pretty much anyone that comes his way. He is quick to judge, but if you can half handle his humour and forever mischievous ways you and him will hit it off swimmingly. He is ok with being judgemental, due to his past Slytherins and Sirius do not usually get along. That little black book 'And may you never love in vain And in my heart you’ll always stay...’Ahh that little black book that isn’t so little. Sirius is notorious for his ways with women. He is able to sweep any woman off her feet with just a smirk. He doesn’t have a fan club for nothing after all! In the spirit of fun, love, and especially lust Sirius always has some kind of romance in his life. Under all the arrogance, sarcasm, and joking around he can be rather sweet if he can force himself to open up enough to the person. One of his mottos in life must be ‘let’s get physical’ because at the tender age of sixteen he doesn’t really believe in love, just lust, but he can entertain the idea long enough if need be. Sirius isn’t particularly picky. He loves all women. Roses are red, violets are blue...screw you whore. ‘And do unto others As you’d have done to you...’You either love Sirius or you hate him. There is no in between. He is a quick to judge kind of guy and doesn’t often change his mind. For someone who wears his emotions on his sleeve, hate is often evident. Usually if you wear a snake on your chest you’re a target of Sirius Black. He doesn’t take too kindly to the house of his family. Many people take Sirius’ pranks to heart, which are usually Slytherins. He doesn’t mind being the most hated guy for Slytherins. He actually thrives on it. Chances are, if your last name is Black or if you’re a Slytherin, you and Sirius are not the best of friends. Famjam ’And when you finally fly away I’ll be hoping that I serve you well...’Well, this one is kind of self explanatory. Sirius has a rather large family. If your last name is Black I’m pretty sure you’re related to him in one way or another. He’s a pureblood so you never know how many pureblooded families are distantly related. In general, Sirius is not on good terms with his family. He hates what they represent and will do anything to prove that he is nothing like them. Plotting could be a tense and rather interesting one. ...But whatever road you choose I’m right behind you win or lose Forever young, forever young For, forever young...’ -Padfoot

Andromeda && Sirius Andromeda is a Black and was a Slytherin yet they are still close. There is no secret about Sirius being Andromeda's favorite cousin and the only family member she even talks to these days. Sure they might have had their rough patches but they're family and family is bound to disagree sometimes. Andromeda might not agree with Sirius' antics and wishes he would settle down with one woman for a while, but she loves him to death and would do what she needed to to protect him.

Sirius and Andromeda Yes, I completely agree, Sirius and Andromeda have a sort of understanding between one another that bonds them. She could attempt to mentor him as he has just recently been through the same thing as Andromeda has with being disowned from the family. They do go through ups and downs but always find a way to stay close. Really they are the only family they have left and its a comfort to have Annie by his side.

Sirius && MarySame house, same year and basically the same friends. I don't have any big ideas for this. They could be friends, but maybe Mary doesn't particularly like him because he has such a big ego. She's sort of shy, so she tends to stay out of people's way, so she probably stays to the sidelines. Again, she probably thinks Sirius's antics with his friends are childish. I really don't know. I tried to come up with something "Great" here, but nothing game to my smart head :/

Sirius and Mary
I can see how the two would see a bit more of each other as they are in the same house, year, and have similar friends. They probably aren't the best of mates considering the differences between them. I can see Sirius constantly bothering Mary and trying to get her out of her shell more because he knows he gets to her. Hmmmm friends? Yes, the epicness isn't coming out of me this early in the morning...what do you think?

LUCIUS&SIRIUS This one is fairly easy, but it could be a little complicated internally. Obviously Sirius and Lucius have to know one another. Both purebloods, and both of the same age, not to mention the families would have certainly intermingled by now. I can't imagine the two of them getting along on good terms much, though. Especially with Sirius' new coming out with his family, Lucius will surely have heard all of this and it won't make them like each other any more.
However, seeing as they both have very similar personalities in ways of snappy attitudes and quick wits, I could see them as having been some sort of friend at one point or another. Perhaps they were playmates during their childhood, but they had a sort of love-hate relationship? I could see them pissing each other off quite a bit, always stepping on one another's toes.
Needless to say, I could say if even with all of the family drama and bad blood between Houses, that they sometimes might humour each other when forced to be in the same place at the same time.
Thoughts?

Sirius and Lucius
I like this! It's very obvious and plausible what with their ages and family history and yet it opens up to a ton of possibilities on how we angle their relationship. Sirius would definately think Lucius is a prick but I like the idea of them being friends at one point in their childhood. The love-hate relationship could have grown with more hate as the two got older and Sirius got more wild and outspoken. If they were to have a complete falling out when Sirius was sorted into Gryffindor it could lead to some deep seeded emotions with the two. On Sirius' side, he hates the fact he was ever friends with Lucius in the first place.
Long story short this is turning out well! I like it so far and can't wait for the thread on the train. Any more ideas to add on?

LUCIUS&SIRIUS I agree, and I suspect Lucius would have just about the same sentiments. Not to mention he'll probably enjoy flaunting Sirius' family around him as he either dates them or spends time with them as friends. This will probably get Sirius a bit bothered by principle alone.
I think that's about it. The train role play is going to be all too fun.

Sirius and Lucius Agreed! Oh I think it would be interesting if Lucius tries to take Regulus under his wing to piss Sirius off as well. Once we get a Regulus we can talk to him but until then I know it will be fine to RP with. Ahhhh greatness! I'm excited!

LUCIUS&SIRIUS Honestly, I was thinking the very same thing. You completely read and then blew my mind. Now I'm looking forward to a Regulus more than any other character, including a love interest for Lucius. How exciting!

Sirius&Alice
Hey hey hey. So these two are sort of kind of related by marriage (Alice's aunt married into the Black family) but it's unlikely that her family would have attended any family reunions (or would even have been invited). However, I had a thought, that he could have been one of the reasons Alice started being proud to be a Gryffindor (her aunt had really encouraged her to be in Slytherin and basically stopped caring about her once she was sorted into Gryffindor). I was thinking maybe they could have a sort of older brother/little sister kind of relationship. He (and other marauders too, possibly?) could have semi-adopted her and given her really bad advice. Now that she's older, and somewhat more mature than him, she could tell him when he's being an absolute idiot (whether or not he would listen to her or not is up to you). I think Alice would really be fond of Sirius for his view on life and sense of humor. These are all just me brain storming, you don't have to use any of it, haha.

Sirius and Alice I like where this is going. The brother/sister relationship would work to some extent but Sirius would be nothing more than a bad influence on her, which he knows and doesn't mind in the least. He is fiercely protective of those close to him and that is where I think the brother/sister relationship would come out, even though he has quite a skewed sense of family. He would probably be completely unaware he has had such an affect on Alice with what he has done and go about things as if she was almost one of his fan girls taking a liking to him for a completely different reason. I like the idea of her maturing far faster than Sirius and despite the fact he is totally oblivious as to why she wants to hang around him for the most part he likes the idea of taking her under his wing as he subconciously can see the similarities between them both. Long story short, this is a good starter. Anything you want to add on?

Sirius&Alice
I was thinking something along the lines of a bad influence type relationship too. I can see him getting her into loads of trouble when she was younger, but now that Alice is older, she knows to take the things he says with a grain of salt. Sounds great all around, I like the idea of his being protective of her. She might find it somewhat annoying at times but value it most of the time. I think it would be hilarious if he saw her as a fangirl, Alice would totally just go along with it too. If he ever said anything to her about it she'd just be all "Whatever you say, Sirius."

Sirius and Alice Haha, yes!!! He just assumes she a fangirl because he can't quite understand why she likes him and of course the only explanation he can come up with would be she's fallen for his good looks and charm (his ego always acts before his head). I think that would be fun to play out for sure. As the years went on, I think he slowly considered her a friend and thats where there is a difference between the way Sirius acts around his fan girls and her. The brother/sister thing that develops and he realizes Alice can pretty much hold her own when around him and his mates. I'm not exactly sure what to call this relationship but I adore it all the same!
