Raise your glass if you are wrong in all the right ways
The hustle and bustle of morning classes were already upon the students of Hogwarts. Already people were stressing about assignments, wondering where classrooms were, and trying to figure out how hard new Professors would mark. It wasn’t even the end of the first week and Sirius Black had a headache just watching it all unfold. Of course he could never be bothered with the actual stress of school. For that he would actually have to attend class on a regular basis, or at least not sleep through the rare ones he had been coaxed into going by his dear friend Mr. Remus Lupin. With his tie loosely done around the neck of his untucked shirt, his Gryffindor robes slung over a messenger bag that looked like it had rarely if ever been used; he stood out from the crowds who were running around to get to their next class.
Sirius strode through the halls at his own, slow pace, stopping every so often to pat someone on the back, wink at a group of giggling girls, or cast a jinx on an unexpecting Slytherin. At the present time he was supposed to be on his way to the History of Magic classroom where he would learn all about...well, he wasn’t quite sure the specific details but he did know it was going to be a right boring hour with Professor Binns rattling off tired dates involving a bunch of dead guys. Really, if he wanted to know something about dead people he would just ask Nearly Headless Nick, the Gryffindor house ghost and it would save him the pain of sitting in a stuffy classroom. As if it were ever another option, Sirius decided to skip the day and do something useful with his life.
After waving at a rather cute Ravenclaw and her friends, Sirius turned a corner just as a Professor started coming his way.
Bollocks he thought as he tried to look as if he were going to another classroom.
He knew it was going to be hard to convince a Professor his intentions were innocent and decided to make another quick turn to avoid the unwanted questioning. Really, if they thought they knew the answer why did they bother asking? Sirius had a theory that all Hogwarts Professors had the same life mission in putting him in detention for the remainder of the school year. While he could see the reasoning behind locking him up away from any potential hazards would be appealing he never been much good at the punishment part of his crimes. It was cruel and unusual to make him sit like that for hours on end!
He let his feet do much of the work and before he realized where he was going he had nearly walked right into a tall glass case full of glittering trophies. A devilish smirk flashed over his lips momentarily as an idea struck him. He took a glance behind him to make sure he was not followed. When no one came running he realized he was alone. It didn’t take much time or particular talent for Sirius to magically pry one of the doors of the case open. There he took the biggest of the trophies in the room...one for academic achievement and let out a hearty laugh.
“Who needs one of these for being bookish?” he asked himself as he grasped the cup in his hand. The large bowl on top seemed the perfect place for one to drink a victory swig of liquor after a hard earned Quidditch win. When did anyone ever hear of a victory party for an O on an OWL exam? Evans, definitely.
With surprising pose Sirius managed to climb his way up to the top of the case were he took a seat with his new cup. Reaching in his pocket for something he nicked off Mundungus Fletcher he pulled out a shiny flask and poured its contents in.
There was nothing like Sirius’ own victory party. What was he celebrating? Well, everyday was a victory party when Sirius Black was around. [/blockquote]

Daciana had been roaming the grounds all day after her morning classes had been over. She had been in this school for so long that she had her own little secret spots to go to and just relax. But something was stuck in her mind. The full moon was approaching and Daciana always hated them. It came from her upbringing and her father being a werewolf. They always terrified her and brought thoughts into her head of him showing up. Her mother had finally left him and now he was out of her life but for how long?
She walked slowly back towards the castle and trudged up the stairs towards the Gryffindor Common Room. She didn't want to go to sleep yet but she didn't feel like being outside anymore. It was too lonely and she felt like some company. She usually didn't like to be around people but she just wanted some company tonight. As she neared the portrait she soon changed her mind of being there. She still had time before her next class but her mind was so flustered about the upcoming full moon that she just didn't feel like going or being around a crowd of people.
She shrugged her shoulder bag back up on her shoulder as it slid down and she turned and walked away from the portrait that housed the common room of the great house of Gryffindor. Daciana walked briskly on through the corridors of the castle. The ceilings towered over her but she hardly noticed anymore. She still remembered the first day she had set foot inside the giant doors. Her eyes had been filled with wonder and she couldn't wait to explore all of the vast corridors and secret passage ways. But now that she had been heer for so long she didn't really care. She had seen it all before.
She turned a corner and soon came face to face with the many trophies that students of the school had won. They all sparkled and told of great victories. Daciana sauntered over and looked at them all. They were all in their rightful place on the shelf waiting to be cleaned again or just admired. But one empty space stood out. It seemed like one trophy was missing. Daciana took a step closer and inspected the space that was bare.
"Where might you be?"

Raise your glass if you are wrong in all the right ways
Sirius liked to live his life much in emulation of a party. He always wanted to have something on the go and something fun to fall back on. He went full throttle at all times and lived at such a high pace that many could not keep up. While he did not depend on the drink as much as people thought he must from the amount of actual partying he did do, he still enjoyed the taste of a good Fire Whiskey or Butterbeer. It had to be five o’clock somewhere, after all. He took a swig from the trophy’s cup and let the contents warm him. This had to be far better than anything he would be learning in class.
Going to class had always been something Sirius had a problem with, especially if it was a class he deemed boring or annoying. It was a hard thing to keep a guy like Sirius’ interest for too long and he did tire a bit too easily with many things in his life. Sitting in a classroom always lost out for an adventure and this was just it. Though he had never won any kind of trophy in his life he seemed to fit right in with the golden cups and plaques.
He looked almost regal as he sat high above the ground, his dark locks falling messily over his forehead and just skimming the top of his brows. Now more than ever were his Black family haughty looks prevalent. He took another swig, this time flicking his head to get the hair out of his face as he did so. His casual elegance seemed to be so well suited in a place full of glittering trophies.
It was then that he saw a fellow Gryffindor, Daciana Sabau, a bit consumed in herself, walk into the trophy room. He was so high up that she did not seem to notice him, a first for Sirius whom always seemed to be noticed where ever he went. She took a step closer to the case Sirius was sitting on. How she had not noticed him was an anomaly he could not begin to understand. She stared curiously into the case where the bookish trophy should have been. Sirius smirked as he took yet another swig from the cup.
"Where might you be?" she asked.
Sirius couldn’t help but let out a laugh at this. He looked down at Daciana, whom he had always been rather friendly with. She wasn’t the most outgoing of people but all the same Sirius liked to see how far he could push her. There was nothing like corrupting the youth to get the blood really flowing after all!
“I thought I’d take her about the town and show her what a real man is like,” he joked with a laugh, “ Would you like to join?” he added holding the cup down towards her, wondering if she would take him up on his offer.
Daciana was one of the quiet girls but Sirius knew deep down she had a wild side to her. Sirius always liked to bring out the best in people...and by best others would absolutely know it was truly the worst.[/blockquote]
