having been taught by the dark lord himself, bellatrix portrays a quite vast knowledge of the dark arts and much of which it encompasses. this can also be linked to something that she is also quite fantastic at, dueling. magic, especially dark magic, is, needless to say, a passion for dear bella. she is a amazing duelist and many do not stand a chance if they come to face this young girl. though she still has much to learn, she is quite a fast learner and is accomplishing much at an alarming rate. having no regard for anyones feelings is something that many would view as horrible in every which way but it is a something that bella is quite fantastic at. she doesn’t care much for what she does to others and in fact receives a sense of gratification from performing nasty acts on others.

andromeda, narcissa and bellatrix had always had a strong sisterly bond between them. this bond was to be torn apart on the day that andromeda became exiled from the family. that mudblood who her sister seemed to be inlove with was lower than dirt as far as bella and the rest of her family were considered. they wanted andromeda to ditch him as soon as possible but the girl could just not let go. bella would soon become quite furious at her sister and this affair would lead to many problems arising which would eventually lead to andromeda becoming estranged from the rest of the family. her sister was never going to change and it was something that bella would never be able to forgive, for it was absolutely revolting and from that point on, her sister meant absolutely nothing to her.

the noble and most ancient house of black has long been a very prestigious wizarding family. for years they have carried on there name as parents, time and time again, taught their parents the importance of blood purity. druella rosier and cygnus black had both been taught these exact things from the moment they were able to comprehend words. in marriage, they kept the blood of their future children pure and were on the right track to creating the family that they had for so long been told they should create so that they may be able cary on their sacred family name.
of course they wanted a male, for a male was the only way to sustain the family name. unfortunately for them they did not get their wish. for on april second, nineteen fifty seven, their eldest child happened to be a female. they carried on the long lasting family tradition of naming her after a star. bellatrix would be a name which she would carry. a name, when translated from latin, meant female warrior. and a female warrior bellatrix black would become.
as a young child, bella was quite the handful. her parents refrained from helping her with anything. there main influence within her life was stamping their ideals into the head of their own daughter. when bella was two years old, her parents brought bella a sibling. they, yet again, were so desperate for a girl but, as chance would have it, found themselves with their second female daughter, andromeda. but there is a saying that third time’s the charm. two years after the birth of andromeda, druella became pregnant once again. but druella and cygnus had for the third and final time been graced with a baby girl, narcissa.
and there were the children of druella and cynus black. bellatrix, being the eldest, andromeda, being the middle child and nacissa being the baby of the pair. all three girls would soon grow to be quite close over the years forming quite the sisterly bond. loyalty was a value that they had been taught, almost as much as they had learned to despise muggles, mudbloods, blood traitors, and everything in between. the sisters were quite loyal to one another and the majority of their childhood was spent with each other. bella often spent her time repeating the words of her parents to her sisters and being all that a good, eldest sister should. or at least what she perceived it to be.
soon came the time for the sisters to be split up, as the moment for bella to enter hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry was approaching. bella was extremely excited to enter the school and learn as much as she could about magic. there was no doubt that she would be a slytherin. she possessed all the characteristics of one and it was the only house that she would even stand to be sorted into. anywhere else would surely have been a crime against her and resulted in chaos. pure chaos.
during her years at hogwarts, she adjusted into a group of slytherins, who all shared the same ideas of what magic and the world should be like, but almost none believed it as much as did bella. eventually word of a man who also would stop at nothing till this world became a reality, came about. bella became obsessed with this idea and would think of nothing else for the rest of her days at hogwarts. a boy named rudolphus talked of this excessively and bella fell not in love with him herself, but the words of which he spoke. as soon as bella got out of hogwarts, she joined many of her slytherin peers, in an allegiance to the man she had become so infatuated with. it was all she had dreamed of and was willing to swear her allegiance in a heartbeat. she also would work as hard as she possibly could to work her way as close to the dark lord as was possible.
by this time, bella’s sisters time had found their way into hogwarts, and adjusted into the fabulous life of being slytherin. all was going well except for one slight problem which was growing into a monstrous one. where bella had a relationship with rudolphus, a relationship that had nothing even close to a shred love, for bella’s heart longed to be with another, it was one that satisfied all that her parents wished for their daughter, andromeda had one which was all that her family would never be able to accept.
andromeda had been keeping a secret from the rest of her family for awhile now and bella had caught it. her sister was doing the unimaginable and bella was both amazed and appalled. her sister was sneaking around with a mudblood. bella didn’t even care to know his name but what she did know is that she would not be able to stand for this. one night she broke the news to her family over dinner. her family was in an outrage at andromeda and all shared how they felt on this disastrous issue. after everything seemed to be going well for over a year it took a turn for the worst once again. unfortunately, her sister was unable to leave that partner of hers which resulted in a series of messy arguments, eventually leading up to andromeda becoming estranged from the rest of her family. it broke the bond of three sisters who were once so close but bella wished to have nothing to do with her if her sister wished to go down the path that she was following.
over the next two years, bella became more heavily involved with the dark lord and all his affairs. she was making her way up and losing her mind all the same. she was learning magic that she had never dreamed of and accomplishing things that she had only ever seen deep within her dreams. though most called it a war, bella on the other hand found it nothing more than... a lot of fun! she was doing the most fantastic things and enjoying them all like nothing else. her love for her master was eternal and she would do anything that he asked of her. life for bella is just going up and she wouldn’t dream of it being any other way... well.... except maybe for one thing... <3 <3 <3
