Here is a Mr. Remus Lupin. Not yet a professor, but a werewolf all the same. The other three Marauders always refer to him as Moony, and if anyone else took that title he'd probably beat them. But, he would never admit to that. He's the studious one of the bunch and has had many less detentions than James and Sirius. Still, if it's all in good fun, he's always up for some good pranking. He does like the girls and around the ones that he views as extraordinary, he'll become a baffling fool no doubt. Obviously, since he supports the Order, is a half blood (add some werewolf), and is a Marauder, plenty will hate him without fully knowing him. His mum is a muggle so that can too any of that sort of drama. So let's hit this boy up with some angst, eh?

Meet my sweety. She's a pureblood Hufflepuff with a crazy great-grandmother. Around her friends, she's very loyal and would do anything for them. What she loves most is when people make her their shoulder to cry on. For her it shows that they trust her more than anything else. She's had plenty of boyfriends as well, all ending with her sleeping with them and then them breaking up with her soon after. The girl adores sweet talkers, bad boys, funny boys. Ah, look she does not have a type. Her goal is to go to Romania, study Dragons, come back to England and marry the last boy she dated in Hogwarts. Now, if that happens she's be set for life but that's years away. I'm sure that she's been picked on, she is a sweet little Hufflepuff after all.

So, let's see. I've already set up a good friendship with Sirius and Alice, so I assume she would definitely meet Remus through him. I think Alice would really enjoy Remus' company, especially since he's the most mature of the group of them. He could also possibly tutor her in subjects she's crap in, like potions, etc. I don't have loads of ideas for these two at the moment, but if you think of anything let me know!

Study buddies/friends works for me Though I don't think Remus would be all that much help in potions. Perhaps something like, DADA, Transfiguration, or charms he could certainly help her with anything but potions or potions related it's like cooking and he can't cook

There's a very obvious answer here, and I see you've already made the assumption that we're going to be best friends. Way to make this decision for me - I was really sweating it. Anyway, I'd like to suggest a side plot. Although their friends and Lupin is a pretty easy going guy (aside from the whole werewolf situation), I'm sure he wouldn't be exactly thrilled that James was declared Head Boy, what with Lupin's clean record. I can imagine that might cause a bit of tension in the boys' friendship. Obviously they will remain friends, but it would be interesting to add a little irritability between them for a while.

Ok, Remus part of the Marauders which makes him instantly cool and Gilderoy likes to cling to that sort of thing but I can see him thinking that Remus isn't as cool as the likes of Sirius and James and therefore isn't worth as much of his time as the other Marauders. He would probably be mean and a bit snappy at Remus as he tries to widdle his way in close with his hero James and co. Remus can think he's uber annoying like the rest of his friends but the difference is Gilderoy thinks Remus doesn't like him because in his head he believes Remus to be jealous. Skewed, yes. Fun, definately. What do you think?

I actually like that idea of Remus holding a grudge against James for being Head Boy. He should stay with that grudge until the end of the year and even then be all "well so-so and blah blah but I wasn't head boy soooo yeah."

These two are in the same house that alone puts them together. I think Ari would just be nice to him for the sake of being nice but might feel like he's an ultimate gorgeous creeper that she would rather not being around.

haha yeah I think Gilderoy would know her better than others just because she in in his house and similar ages too! Her being civil to him will just inflate his ego and make him think she's in love with him or something completely ridiculous. Marlene is probably the most adventurous Ravenclaw ever. She is also quite intellegent so I could see them having study sessions together. Marly is planning on joining the Order so she may talk to him about it along with the fact that a close family member joined the death eaters leaving her confused. Marly also had a little love life so i could see her having a small crush on Remus. add/subtract/modify?

Ariadne & Marlene
I could weirdly see these girls being best friends. With everything going on in Marly's life she needs a shoulder to cry on and comfort her. If anyone picks on her I can see Marly standing up for her friend. She also would be interested to listen to her talk about dragons, probably the only one who could listen to her about it for hours. Also Marly has never been kissed, which is embarassing, maybe Ari is the only one who knows. She could tease Marly about it in a friendly way but also try and help Marly to get a boyfriend? add/subtract/modify?
