When Amos was young, his family used to live in a neighborhood that had its fair share of purebloods. They probably lived in one of the worst houses on the block, but it had been a safe neighborhood to the Diggory's. When word got around that a non-pureblood family was in the area, the kids in the neighborhood came to Amos and beat him so much, that he had to go to the hospital for two weeks. Not only had he taken his fair share of hits, the older boys had attacked his mother, calling her filthy, sending her to the hosptial for weeks as well.

Amos is afraid that he will end up alone and friendless. To prevent this, he always keeps others close to him and tries his hardest not to make anyone angry with him. When he breaks up with a girl, he makes sure there are no hard feelings coming from her.
` patronus !
Amos best memory was falling in love for the first time. Though he didn't continue to love her and the feelings wore off, it was the best experience for him. It wasn't the girl that the memory had stuck with him, it was the feeling that she had brought along. His patronus takes the shape of a dove.
` peeves !
Amos hates it when people find fighting the answer to everything they do. He isn't a pacifist, but whewn it comes to fighting, he knows that it doesn't do him any good; he'll still be mad at the person even after he calls them a few names.

` history !
Amos Diggory was born to Elizabeth and Brillick Diggory, two adults that thought they would never have a kid. Elizabeth and Brilick both suffered from being unable to produce children, even though it was what the two desired the most. They had been looking into adoption when they had found out Elizabeth was pregnant and had been extatic. When Amos was born, it was like a gift from heaven for the two and they knew that it was a blessing on their family.
Amos was easily spoiled all through childhood. He was showered with gifts from his parents and his grandparents, being the only child in the family. He didn't have any cousins or aunts or uncles. The Diggory line was on his head. His parents made sure that where ever Amos went, hew as safe, which meant many times they followed him themselves. It got a little out of hand whenever they would follow him into the bathroom. Amos got whatever he wanted all throughout childhood and never had to beg to get what he wanted.
When Amos showed signs of magic, his father was already looking into getting him into Hogwarts. His mom, however, wanted to keep Amos home and away from anywhere that wasn't close to her. Elizabeth was never big on magic. However, Amos's father got the larger say in it and by the time Amos was 11, he was off to join his fellow students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Upon arriving, he was sorted into Hufflepuff, not because their was no where else to put him, but because he was intensely loyal.
Throught his years at Hogwarts, Amos made a small name for himself. Amos was known for getting girls, but not for being a player, he was literally a "lady's man". He didn't get into fights with other people, he avoided it at all costs. Everyone loved Amos, you couldn't dislike him. He was charming, friendly, and intensely loyal. Even if you did dislike Amos, people made you feel horrible for doing so. Amos easily became popular, but never shone in the spotlight. He became Amos Diggory, the guy that made you smile when you said his name.

don't ask about how weird this is..
When James said he’d do just about anything for his packmates, he always figured it’d be something they’d reserve for an emergency. Whether it was a rouge stalking their children or just someone who could help cover up their secret when things went south, it seemed as if the beta really was willing to go that extra mile to ensure the safety and happiness of his pack. But normally it was the latter he was expecting when it came to his promises, not the personal errands of the others. However when one of the pack humans asked him to transport some of the fossils they had found out in the fields to their professors working over at the Dinosaur Institute, James knew well he couldn’t refuse and that despite how much he had to do at Land of the Lost and still the rogue incident to sort out, the pack was still his extended family and that there was always a little time for them.
It had been a long day to say the least, having to endure the classification and sorting of the remains they had found, the preparation and packing of them all and not to mention the hour long lecture on how delicate some of the finds really were, it seemed to James as if the day would never end, having had to make several trips out to the field and back again to move what the students described as one of their biggest findings to date…literally. But after hours of transport, lectures and preparation of the cargo, it seemed as if James’ journey was finally at an end as the professors and students claimed the last of the fossils from off his truck and all it seemed now if all he needed was the ok to go and confirmation that all the bones, remains and sediment samples they collected were all accounted for and had reached their labs in one piece.
With time to kill as stock was taken and the fossils collected, James found himself aimlessly wandering the old halls of the museum as he awaited the news he was so looking forward to. Looking around, it seemed not much had changed since he had last been here on a class trip…let alone the 1980’s when the place last got it’s last major renovation. The walls were still dark and Earthly toned, the air was still heavy with the scent of dust and dry Earth and the fuzzy television screens were still replaying the same clips they have for the past 20 years, showing stop motion lizard zombies slugging their way across clay swamps and animated landscapes of bacterial pools and dark damp jungles. And aside from a few new exhibits, made to show the advancements in paleontology since the institute opened in 1952 and the occasional new finding shipped from other dig sites across the world it just went to show you some things never really changed. However, despite all the museum had retained and how little was changed at the moment, he knew this was all transitory. After all with grants coming in and all the tourists coming in droves, the place had become the new dinosaur mecca. A place where all the world could wander to see the new and amazing findings paleontologists have made in the past five years alone. And although cute and flaunting a retro charm, James knew that people weren’t going to settle for decaying restorations of Charles Knight, they didn’t want to see the same information that has been common knowledge for the past decade and they certainly wanted more than just bones to jumpstart their imaginations. And James could only imagine what this place was to become once the professors, paleontologists and students decided to start renovating this place.
He imagined larger than life animatronics jungles leading people through the lost worlds his kind had once roamed, Earth shattering 3-D movies bringing to life the beasts who haunted their nightmares and of course the latest information they had discovered that had put them back on the map. And what was once a graveyard of dust, calcified mineral and bone, would become a place of life as scientists the world over tried their best to bring the beasts they thought were dead back to life.
James had spent little time wandering the halls, comparing the old exhibits he knew with the new museum he had imagined. And by the looks of things in the back as they unloaded and counted each specimen individually, it seemed like he was going to be here for a while. So as the others gathered around their finds and counted them up, James would move into the saurisician dinosaur exhibit, the one place that never failed to dazzle the eye and imagination, featuring favorites such as the tyrannosaurs, raptors and of course the beloved long necked apatosaurs.
